This 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SE cabriolet is a European-market example that spent years in Arizona prior to its purchase by the current owner on BaT in December 2022. It wears a repaint in Havana Brown over a Cognac leather interior with burled walnut-wood accents, and it is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes black soft top, a tan top boot, 14” wheels, quad headlights, chrome bumpers, wood interior trim, power windows, a power antenna, and a Becker AM/FM radio. Work in preparation for the sale has included re-sealing the steering gearbox and replacing the brake booster, brake hoses, radiator, coolant hoses, drive belts, and spark plugs. Previously offered on BaT in November 2025, this W111 cabriolet is now offered again on dealer consignment by 911r, a BaT Local Partner, with copies of its data card and production order as well as a clean Oregon title.
The car left the factory finished in Red Metallic (571), and it was repainted in Havana Brown (408) about four years ago. The black soft top was installed in 2006. Features include a tan top boot, quad headlights, chrome bumpers, a driver-side mirror, a powered antenna, and a twin-tip exhaust outlet. The windshield washers do not work.
Steel 14″ wheels wearing bright-finished covers with color-matched centers are wrapped in Hankook thin-whitewall tires. The suspension includes an independent double-wishbone front setup with coil springs along with a rear single-joint swing axle. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at each corner, and work in 2025 included re-sealing the steering gearbox and replacing the brake booster and hoses.
The cabin was reupholstered in Cognac (216) leather circa 2021, and the car left the factory with burled walnut trim. Additional appointments include a clock, power windows, Coco floor mats, and a Becker AM/FM push-button radio. A Realistic cassette player is mounted in the glove box. The upholstery on the driver’s door panel has a tear.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring, and it fronts VDO instrumentation consisting of a 220-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 39k kilometers (~24k miles), though it is said to have rolled over. Approximately 300 miles have been added under current ownership, and total mileage is unknown.
The 2.5-liter M129 inline-six features Bosch mechanical fuel injection and was factory rated at 150 horsepower and 159 lb-ft of torque. The fuel pump was replaced in July 2025 while work in preparation for the sale included replacing the radiator and coolant hoses as well as the drive belts, spark plugs, and engine oil. Photographs of compression-test readings are shown in the gallery below.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
